Newly Discovered Plath Sonnet Now Online

A previously unpublished Sylvia Plath sonnet is now available online. The poem, "Ennui," can be found at Blackbird, an online journal of literature and arts. Plath wrote the poem as a senior at Smith College in 1955. She is perhaps best known for two of her books: Ariel, her last book of poetry before her suicide, and The Bell Jar, a novel about a gifted young woman's mental breakdown. The Bell Jar is believed to be more autobiographical than not. Plath was the first poet to win a Pulitzer Prize for The Collected Works. Sadly, the Pulitzer was awarded her posthumously in 1982.

You can purchase any of Sylvia Plath's books at you local independent bookstore or on the net from a worldwide indie by searching by author and/or title at Bookfinder or ADDALL.
